...Guess I've been busy...
R. and I are no more [naturally] and I'm trying something different: not letting myself be kicked around by the opposite sex just because I'm afraid they'll desert me. [Aww, yay! Good for you, Alyssa!] Yeah, whatever.
Anyway, you remember that school show I told you about? Yeah, I wrote an article that appeared in three [count 'em, THREE] newspapers in my state for it. It's published online [no, I will not give you the link; I don't want you stalking me, no offense...], and it's recieved over 30,000 views. [Hoorah for me.] We also recieved individual citations for our performances. The entire cast and crew. All 160+ of us. That is a lot of citations. It was actually very nice; they invited a few of us to sing at the State House, which we did [unaccompanied, bee tee dubs; which was pretty kick-ass, if I do say so myself...], we sat and watched the Meeting [which was on the 5:00 news. ( :], and they clapped for us. It was all very nice.
So now what, you ask?
Study for your math final, you moron!
That's what.
Seeing as I'm now [cough] FAILING math, and was never informed of this until three days ago [oh, I forgot to tell you; it's the last week of school. Exams are next week. Isn't that lovely?], I now have to pull a B+ or better on my final to pass for the year. And I want to pass for the year because I'd kind of like to go to college after next year...But anyway, back to more important matters...if anything can be considered more important than my future...
I've kind of been out of touch with the world since R. and I broke up. I didn't plan on that, nor do I want to be that way; I just am. I hope that ends soon, because it's nearly summer and I'm kind of done with it. I will admit I miss him, but that's the extent of it. But I think I have to move on for now.
I really hate High School...
